Description

The Batur stool is carved from solid teak into a simple cylinder, opened up by tall, rounded cut-outs around its sides. The top is flat with softly rounded edges, and the grain runs in bold light and dark bands across the surface.

The matte, natural surface shows the carving work clearly. It can serve as a stool, a side table or a sculptural accent in living rooms, bedrooms and hotel lounges.

Each piece is carved by hand in Jepara, so figure and color vary.
